Initially, the club said only the South Stand would be open for the fixture but excitement for the new campaign has caused ticket demand to exceed expectations. And, the match will be a significant test for Bolton Wanderers, who are looking to build on their promotion to League One via the play-offs last season. Sheffield Wednesday, on the other hand, will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing start to the season. The Owls will then travel to Leyton Orient in the League One opener on August 15 before hosting Bradford City the following Thursday in the first home league encounter.
