Bolton Wanderers manager Steven Schumacher has confirmed the club is targeting three more signings before the transfer window closes on Tuesday. The Trotters have already brought in 10 new players this summer, including forward Jayden Nelson who joined on Wednesday.
"We are not done, we've got probably three to go," Schumacher said. "It sounds a lot but it's important for us that we get a squad that is really capable of playing at this level." In a positive update on the injury front, defender Akin Famewo is expected to be available for Saturday's match against Lincoln City. The 27-year-old was forced off at half-time during last weekend's draw at Queens Park Rangers with a minor injury.
"It's not good when one of your players has to go off at half-time but he's trained today and says he feels fine," Schumacher added. "That's a real positive for us."
