American investors join Bolton Wanderers ownership group

Bolton Wanderers have confirmed the arrival of new minority investors Tim Leiweke and his daughter Francesca Bodie, owners of Italian Serie A side Venezia. The American businessman, who previously faced legal scrutiny before receiving a presidential pardon, brings significant financial backing to the League One club after investing €100m in Venezia earlier this year.
