Bolton Wanderers recently hosted UCFB Manchester students for an Industry Insight Day, where they learned about career opportunities in different areas of the sports industry. The students were given a tour of the Toughsheet Stadium and listened to staff members at Bolton Wanderers. After the networking and speaker sessions, the students took part in an interactive workshop, coming up with ways of creating revenue for the club. The leader of the workshop was Chris Anguelov, who heads up revenue and growth at Bolton Wanderers. He spoke about how great it was to have UCFB students visiting, and how vital industry insight days could be for them and their career progression. Chris added, talking about the workshop: The idea is to try and give them a practical exercise on a live topic that we're currently working on around a paid membership programme for our fans. On top of Industry Insight Days, UCFB's Employability and Career Planning Team provide our students with incredible experiences and opportunities, such as guest speaker sessions, Premier Events and workplace opportunities.
